Do you let clients change their wardrobes? Do you shoot in the rain? Do you shoot on various locations? I’d like to share my must-have items for sessions.
1. Portable Pop-up Tent from Amazon.com // My clients absolutely love this tent. They appreciate that I brought it to the location. This is an easy slim tent that clients can change inside of. I used to have my clients change their wardrobes in their cars which doesn’t provide much privacy. Also, some clients changed in a public bathroom which sometimes took awhile to find one close to the location. This pop-up tent only costs $35 and it’s a must-have! If you have your clients change their wardrobes on location, please check it out!!!
2. Rain Covers for DSLR Cameras from Amazon.com // I’ve posted about this in a blog before, but I want to share this again. Occasionally, photographers may not have a choice but to take pictures in the rain. This cover is great for shooting in wet conditions. I highly recommend you get one. This cover saved my camera and lens in the rain and snow! It only costs $15!!! I have two for my main and backup camera.
3. Dark Sky (iPhone and Android Weather App) // “Dark Sky is the most accurate source of hyperlocal weather information. With down-to-the-minute forecasts, you’ll know exactly when the rain will start or stop, right where you’re standing. (It’s like magic.)” – Quote from their website. I love getting notifications on my phone saying “light rain starting in 5 minutes,” and it’s pretty accurate. It’s not free ($3.99 at Apple Store), but I’m super happy with this app!
What are your must-have items for your photography? I’d love to know :) Please leave it in the comment section at the very bottom of this post!
